ALTERATIONS

In the occasion that your item needs alterations such as adding chain length, Birthstones or Letters after purchase, we have made it easy for our customers to start and purchase the alterations process online.

After we process your order, we will send you an email confirming your order and another email containing your return shipping label. Upon receipt of your item(s), we will make your requested alterations and return it to you once completed. 


JEWELRY CARE 

Care for Gold Jewelry

Our 14k gold items are designed to never take off. You can wear them in the shower, the pool, the ocean etc. Most gold jewelry can be safely cleaned with a non-abrasive jewelry cleaner or by mixing dish soap and water. After cleaning, be sure to rinse completely and blot dry with a chamois cloth. Do not use cream based jewelry cleaners on gold as they may contain harsh abrasives that will scratch the surface of the gold.

Care for Silver Jewelry

With proper care, your silver will retain its beauty and character for many generations to come. Sterling silver oxidizes over time, especially when exposed to salt water or chlorinated water. However, silver that is regularly used typically needs less care. HAVERHILL encourages you to wear your silver every day. Gently use a soft polishing cloth when you remove your jewelry to enhance the luster. Chemical substances can be corrosive to silver, including perfumes, lotions and cosmetics. 

General Care

Settings and clasps do wear over time. When you take off your fine jewelry, store it in a jewelry pouch or jewelry box.

 

REPAIR WARRANTY

The HAVERHILL Collection two year warranty covers basic repairs and manufacturing defects for two years. Please retain your sales receipt as proof of purchase. The warranty is valid only if the jewelry has been purchased from a HAVERHILL Collection authorized retail partner. Jewelry damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service or other factors unrelated to defects in material or workmanship will not be considered under warranty. 

If your item is no longer under warranty, we are happy to assess the damage and give you a cost of repair prior to moving forward. We want you to continue to enjoy your HAVERHILL jewelry.
